The Cleveland Cavaliers finished off their regular season by resting their stars, as the Cavs went with a starting lineup of Matthew Dellavedova, Jordan McRae, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, and Tristan Thompson.
The game had no bearing on the standings, and the Cavs fell to the Pistons 112-110.
The mood of the night was set four seconds into the game, when Thompson did this:

With the four seconds of play, Thompson extended his consecutive games played streak to 370 games, keeping the longest active streak in the NBA.
The Pistons also rested their two best players, Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond, saving them for when the games really matter, the first round of the playoffs, which starts this weekend.
Detroit had a few more of their meaningful players on the court, and that helped them take a 55-38 lead late in the second quarter.
The Pistons would enter halftime leading by 14.
McRae scored 14 for the Cavs in the first half of his first ever NBA start.
Detroit would maintain their lead throughout the third quarter, entering the fourth on top 82-72.
McRae’s fantastic night continued, as he scored an NBA career-high 36 points on the night. Coming into the game, he had only scored 26 total points in 14 games with the Cavaliers.
An even newer face, Dahntay Jones, made a good first impression, scoring 13 points the same day he signed with the Cavaliers.
McRae hit a three-pointer with 14 seconds left to tie the game, which would ultimately end up sending the game to overtime.
The Pistons would hold off Cleveland in OT, winning 112-110.
The Cavs finish the regular season with a record of 57-25.
