CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Cleveland Cavaliers look to make it six in a row when they welcome in the Brooklyn Nets to The Q on Wednesday night. Many would scoff at you before the season if even the idea of the Nets being close to .500 was mentioned, yet here we are. Brooklyn is 6-10 on the young campaign and boasts a victory over the Cavs throughout the first quarter of the season. The new-look Nets are led by veteran DeMarre Carroll currently after significant injuries to D’Angelo Russell and Jeremy Lin derailed the thought of a talented backcourt. Carroll is currently putting up 13.6 points a night along with corraling 6.9 rebounds per contest, helping the Nets average 110.6 points. That point total is good enough for fourth-highest in the NBA and is just underneath Cleveland for third. Brooklyn was able to produce 112 points against Cleveland in their last meeting and will look to do so again. The Cavs will need to shut down the high-octane offense to be successful in their pursuit of a sixth straight victory.
Let’s take a look at three keys to a Cleveland victory tonight.
