What a twenty-four hours it has been for Cavs forward Kevin Love. After having a report get out last night about a team meeting that escalated to scrutiny towards Love missing most of Saturday’s contest against Oklahoma City due to an illness, Love has now received some good news.
The news? He’s an NBA All-Star once again.

That’s right, Love has been named an Eastern Conference All-Star for the second time in his career and his fifth overall appearance. The news was reported Tuesday evening when the reserves for both All-Star squads were announced.
Despite the recent criticism that Love has garnered, he’s once again having a solid year. The former UCLA Bruin is putting up 18.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game and is doing so while manning the center position, something he took on this year when Cleveland looked to switch things up underneath the basket.
On top of the All-Star selection, Love has been asked to participate in the Three-Point Contest that takes place during All-Star Weekend. It would be the first time Love has participated in the event and would be the second Cavalier in as many years to take part in the contest, joining former teammate Kyrie Irving.
