Multiple reports surfaced today stating that the Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in bringing 27-year-old John Holland to training camp.
Holland, recently waived by the Celtics, is a 6-foot-5 swingman who played his college basketball for Boston University and went undrafted in 2011.
In 2015, after four years of European hoops in France, Spain, and Turkey, Holland landed a spot on the Canton Charge roster.
In his 37 games with the Charge last season, Holland averaged 16.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 30.2 minutes per game.
Holland also represents for Puerto Rico in men’s basketball team play, where he first saw action in 2011 at the Jenaro Marchand Continental Championship Cup.
The garnered interest in Holland is due to Cleveland’s efforts to fill out their training camp roster.
