As the Cavaliers get set to take the court tonight against the Indiana Pacers, one of their players will be a little lighter in their pockets, as Cavs guard J.R. Smith has been fined for his brawl during Saturday’s game against Boston
Smith, along with Celtics guard Marcus Smart were hit with fines, as Smith will be forced to hand over $15,000, while Smart was hit with a $25,000 fine.
The incident, for which Smart was assessed a technical foul and ejected, occurred with 3:38 remaining in the first quarter of the Cavaliers’ 113-102 win over the Celtics.
