Cavs get first road win of the season, defeat the Sixers 121-112

Two streaks one night

Cedi Osman scored 20 points for the second straight game Friday night, the first time he’s down that in his career.

Coming into the game Friday night, the Cavaliers were (0-8) on the road this season, while Philadelphia was (10-0) at home. If you really want to make things worse for Sixers fans, they had won 20 in a row at home dating back to last season. The Cavaliers win ended all of that, which makes the victory all that more impressive. The Sixers had four players score 20 plus points Friday (Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, JJ Reddick, Jimmy Butler) and still lost to a struggling Cavs team.

The Sixers largest lead was five, which was a 79-74 lead in the third quarter. Otherwise it was a rather lack luster performance for the Eastern Conference playoff team. A sluggish start can probably be attributed to the Sixers possibly underestimating the Cavaliers. The Sixers had chances to get things together throughout, but could never put together enough plays, the Cavaliers took advantage.
