1. The King Comes Through Once Again- When you have the best player on the planet, sometimes it’s much simpler to let him figure things out. Cleveland did that the entire series by following LeBron James’ lead throughout a wacky seven-game expedition.
James put an exclamation point on a series in which he made his own. When his team’s back was against the wall, James put up a 45-point display in which he also had nine rebounds and seven assists. He even had plans of playing the entire game but fell just short of that lofty goal at 43:25 logged on the afternoon. That time spent off the floor came at the beginning of the fourth quarter when he went to the locker room for what was later reported as cramping. But when LeBron got back into the game, he made sure to shut down the final Indiana gasp at a comeback victory.
It would be ideal for some other guys to step up and produce alongside LeBron. But if they fail to do so, watch out for number twenty-three.
