2. Three-Pointers (and Bradley’s Buzzer Beater)
When the Cavs stepped on to the court, it seemed like they were ready to pick up where they left off in Game 2 when it came to threes.
At halftime, the Cavs were 14-22 (63.6 percent) from deep, compared to Boston shooting just 7-18. Kevin Love was especially hot, hitting seven threes and finishing the half with 22 points.
Boston, however, would not go away quietly. They stormed back in the third quarter with six made threes, three of which came from Marcus Smart.
The Cavs went zero for six in that same time frame, which is why the Celtics went into the last quarter only down by five.
“We went cold. Sometimes that just happens,” Kevin Love said.
It was only fitting then, that the game ended on a three from Bradley that bounced around the rim and went through the net with just 0.1 seconds left on the clock.
