The Cavaliers inked Derrick Rose this offseason with the hopes that he could find some of the form that made him one of the brightest players in the league before injuries derailed his career with the Chicago Bulls.
Now, after the Cavs have played just 18 games, seven of which he’s played in, Rose might just be thinking about life after basketball – and it might be soon.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Rose is not with the Cavs as they get set to host the Charlotte Hornets tonight at the Q, and might not be back.
Story with @mcten filed to ESPN: Cavaliers guard Derrick Rose is away from team and evaluating his future in basketball, league sources tell ESPN. Story soon on site.

In seven games Rose has put up 14.6 points per game, averaging 26.9 minutes. It will be interesting to see where the Rose saga goes, and what Cavs coach Ty Lue says about it tonight.
