Cavs clap back against Thunder with 120-112 win; three takeaways

2. The King’s dominance

LeBron James put up a game-high 37 points on 14-of-23 from the field. He also finished with eight rebounds and eight assists.

The most dominant portion of the evening for James happened in the third quarter. At halftime he was leading all scorers with 16 points, and then went on to drop 17 in the third frame.

That included scoring 14 points in a row while scoring 14 of the Cavs’ first 16 points of the second half.

With the new additions, it seems that the King is back to playing inspired basketball once again as he gets ready to head to L.A. as an All-Star Game captain.
