2. Keeping The Young Stars In Check– Rookie Jayson Tatum and second-year pro Jaylen Brown have been the catalysts for the Celtics’ playoff voyage. With Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward out of action for the year, most declared Boston as a team that would be lucky to get out of the first round.
The expectations were met and then some.
Both Brown and Tatum have been essential in this improbable run Boston has strung together and they’ve continued to put in work during the ECF. The two have scored in double-digits in every game this series, with Tatum averaging 15 points per game and Brown tallying 18.6 a contest. While it’s a team-first mentality for this Boston group, it’s quite apparent who’s running the show on the court
