After handing the Celtics their fifth road playoff loss in 2018 by way of a 30-point blowout win, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to even the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday. Cleveland will have a chance to do so in front of their home fans while riding momentum from their Game 3 victory.
LeBron James has continued to be great throughout yet another postseason run. James put up 27 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds in Saturday’s win over Boston and didn’t have to play much of the fourth quarter due to the large lead the Cavs held for most of the second half. It was a nice change of pace for LeBron, who has spent a majority of the playoffs on the court grinding it out at the end of ballgames.
Another good thing to come out of Saturday was the return of the supporting cast. Five other Cavaliers posted double-digits, that being Kevin Love, JR Smith, Kyle Korver, George Hill, and Tristan Thompson. It really changed the way Boston defended the team as a whole due to the fact that multiple guys hurt them in the process of Game 3.
Both teams will ready themselves for a pivotal Game 4 tonight. Let’s look at our three keys for a Cavaliers victory.
