The Cavs are comfortably up 2-0 in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, and now it looks like the Celtics may not have their best player due to injury.
Guard Isaiah Thomas left the game due to a hip injury and didn’t return to the blowout Cavs win, and it sounds like the injury he left with might have him missing some time.
Chris Mannix of The Vertical reports that Thomas’ injury was first checked out after the game six loss the last round to the Wizards, and now after the second straight loss to the Cavs the injury is considered ‘significant.’

Internally, there were doubts Thomas could play in Game 7. He gutted it out, and again in Game 1. Injury, though, considered significant.

The series to this point has been so one-sided, without Thomas it’s hard to believe that Boston has much of a chance at all of making a comeback against the ultra focused Cavs squad.
