Cedi Osman: B-
The beautiful thing about Cavs rookie Cedi Osman is the fact that you’d never know if he played a minute or 35 minutes. The Turkish wing provided a happiness on the Cleveland roster that really didn’t have much to be happy about throughout their regular season frustrations.
Osman didn’t fill the stat sheet, obviously. He wasn’t given a ton of time to work with or a true opportunity, at least a lengthy one. He played in 61 games for the Cavaliers with 12 of them being starts. In those contests, Osman averaged just 3.9 points and two rebounds. Not a lot to dissect here.
What is exciting is the fact Osman had a full year to study the NBA game and see the differences between the game over here in the states compared to overseas. His jubilation and “team-first” mentality made him much more likable and easier to work with, at least that’s what it seemed like amongst the team.
