2. Love’s strong third quarter
Kevin Love came out of the halftime gates strong and put together a stellar third quarter. After having just eight points in the first half, Love scored 16 of the Cavs’ 25 points in the third frame.
He shot 8-of-13 from the field including 3-of-6 from behind the arc for 24 total points, and also tallied his 10th rebound in the quarter to record his 16th double-double of the season.
Love once again took advantage of mismatches down low and did a good job of drawing Chicago’s Robin Lopez out to the perimeter where he used his speed. As a result, Love disrupted Chicago’s entire defense.
