Cavalier fans that are interested in getting a first-hand look at what the team may look like this upcoming season will get a free chance to do so with the annual ‘Wine and Gold’ scrimmage.
The franchise announced today that the scrimmage will take place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Tuesday, October 8th at 5pm.
The scrimmage is free to attend, but you must have a ticket, which are free, to get into the Cavs newly transformed home.
Tickets are available now at any of Discount Drug Mart’s northeast Ohio locations or online at Cavs.com.
There is a limit of six (6) tickets per transaction and seating will be general admission. Fans 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The new Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will more space, more amenities and more food and beverage options. Throughout the night, fans will get a sample of the Cavs award-winning game presentation including popular lights-out player introductions, Humongotron flames and performances from both the Scream Team hip-hop troupe and the rhythm pounding 216Stix drumline.
Fans can also look forward to the always-entertaining antics from Cavs mascots, Sir C.C. and Moondog!
Doors to the FieldHouse will open at 4:00 p.m., one hour prior to tipoff so fans can take some time to explore all the wonderful enhancements of the transformation and enjoy concourse activities while taking in the fun of Cavs basketball.
The Cavs will stream the Wine & Gold Scrimmage LIVE on Cavs.com/live and the Cavs Official Mobile App to give fans across the globe a chance to check out the Cavs before they tipoff the 2019-20 season.
