CLEVELAND – After going 5-1 on the road against the Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds, the Indians Friday night welcomed the Baltimore Orioles to town for a quick three-game homestand.
With bats being efficient and decent pitching, the Tribe did enough to win game one with a final score of 2-1 to earn a little “Respect,” paying their respects to the late Aretha Franklin, who passed away on Thursday.
The win puts the Tribe at 70-51 on the season, and with the way Carlos Carrasco is pitching and Jose Ramriez is hitting, this team is on a roll right now.
Here’s three takeaways from the win.
