Larson Perfect in California

Kyle Larson earned his second career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win Sunday, holding off the rest of the field on a late restart. Larson lead a race-high 110 laps and completed the weekend sweep after he drove to victory in Saturdays NASCAR Xfinity Series event.

The 24-year old had finished second in each of the last three Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races. With his win Sunday, Larson extended his lead in the points to 29.

Helms Sweeps Weekend
It took Caleb Helms some time to get his first feature win in a 410 sprint car. It didn’t take long to get the second. Helms made a pass with 8 laps to go Friday night at Attica Raceway Park to
grab the feature win. One night later, Helms would drive to victory in the 410 feature at Mansfield Motor Speedway, taking the lead with 3 laps to go after Jac Haudenschild lost a right rear tire. The 25-year-old Findlay native is a regular with the All Star Circuit of Champions and sits 11th in points.

Mansfield Motor Speedway Officially Back To Dirt
It was the first time since 1998 that the Mansfield oval held racing on dirt, and race fans came out in solid numbers. Around 6,000 fans were on hand for the first of three Triple Crown Spring
Series events. Despite a 90-minute break for track prep, fans were treated to good racing. The non-wing sprint race was the highlight of the night, with Jac Haudenschild and Chris Windom trading the lead multiple times. Windom took the lead back with 3 to go and held on for the win. The Triple Crown Spring Series continues this Saturday with 410 sprints, late models and non wing sprints.

Tragedy In Florida
David Steele died as a result of a sprint car crash Saturday night at Desoto Speedway in Bradenton, Florida. A sprint car legend, Steele was going for his 100th career Florida win Saturday night.
