Count new Browns wide out Kenny Britt as a huge fan of Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer, going so far as putting him on a pedestal Sunday declaring future greatness for the draft pick.
Britt stated that as long as Kizer stays on the current path he’s on, he appears to finally be the answer to the question of who will finally break the Browns long QB drought.
“He’s going to be a great one,” Britt said Sunday. “If he keeps going, focuses on the track that he’s on, to tell you the truth, he could be one of the great ones. He’s learning fast and he’s got a strong arm.”
Things have been up and down for Kizer, the teams’ 52nd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft from Notre Dame, but Britt feels that from what he saw from the rookie QB in the spring to now has been night and day.
“He’s growing each day, each day,” Britt said. “I actually asked him yesterday has the offense slowed down for him. He said, ‘Yes,’ and I could tell that he’s looking at certain things. He’s seeing the defense before the snap count, and once he lines up, he knows there’s certain things he has to do, and he’s going to be one of the great ones.”
Count Britt as a player who is a huge fan of his new team, ready to try and do whatever he can to make the Browns better – tweeting as such in the middle of the night.
Just woke up and cant go back to sleep. All I can think of is makin this team better. I realize I will die for em #Dawgs #NeverBeenMoreFocus

I wont put a lot of faith in Kenny Britts QB evaluation skills, but I’m always happy to read news coming out of Cleveland that isn’t doom and gloom.
