CLEVELAND — Two key players are back in action for the Browns this week as wide receiver Rashard Higgins and cornerback E.J. Gaines make a return to the field today. Higgins missed the last three games with multiple injuries, while Gaines has been dealing with a concussion. Gaines return comes at a great time for the Browns depleted secondary, which gained a casualty this week as safety Damarious Randall is listed as inactive. Randall tested his nagging groin injury prior to kickoff and was deemed unable to play.
Among the other inactive players for Cleveland are starting left tackle Desmond Harrison and linebacker Joe Schobert. Here is the team’s full list of inactives for Week 9:

Kansas City, meanwhile, will be without both safety Eric Berry and linebacker Justin Houston. Along the o-line they’ll be missing starting center Mitch Morse for a third straight game as well, although the offense hasn’t missed a beat in his absence.
