4) Linebacker
It’s been well documented that the Browns had one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL this past season. Injuries in the second level of the defense were part of that. Those are often unavoidable. Poor tackling was a problem as well and that needs to change with the addition of new talent. Despite leading the team in tackles, Jamie Collins has not lived up to the contract extension he signed in 2017. Guys like Joe Schobert, Genard Avery and Christian Kirksey have certainly come into their own, but there is room for improvement at the position as a whole. Adding to the linebacking corps is a must for the Browns.
