The Browns head coaching search has taken them to the home of the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, as reports say the team will chat with Pats DC Matt Patricia.
Cleveland Browns have requested and received permission to interview Patriots' defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, per a league source.

The interview with Patricia will be this week as it’s the Patriots bye week, a time when coaches of teams in the divisional playoffs can chat with teams.
It appears that both Patricia along with OC Josh McDaniels are going to be popular candidates for possible coaching jobs, as Patricia is also set to chat with the Miami Dolphins.
Patricia, who looks like Mike Pettine but with hair, led the Pats to the 9th ranked defense overall in 2015, with the 10th ranked defense in points allowed.
The Browns already got plucked two coaches off the Bill Belichick tree since their return in 1999 – Romeo Crennel, who lasted four seasons going 24-40 for the Browns, and Eric Mangini, who was 10-22 in two seasons with the Browns, just like the recently fired Pettine.
