The Browns and Titans are four days away from their matchup at First Energy Stadium, and today the first injury report for the two teams was released.
Browns rookie safety Jabrill Peppers did not practice on Wednesday, and a couple players were limited for the Browns, including DL Jamie Meder, Danny Shelton, WR Kenny Britt and CB Jamar Taylor.
“As far as injuries are concerned, (LB James) Burgess – knee. He still has a knee, and we will see where he is as we go throughout the week. (DB Jabrill) Peppers has a toe. He wasn’t able to practice today. We will see how that progresses throughout the week,” Browns coach Hue Jackson said.
“We hope both of those young men can make it back this weekend, but that is kind of where we are. Outside of that there is nothing else really to report. We are a pretty healthy football team. We just have to continue to work, put our heads down and keep getting better.”
Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, who did play and had a solid game in his return to the lineup on Monday night against the Colts, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.
