The Browns have announced that offensive coordinator, Alex Van Pelt, running backs coach, Stump Mitchell, and tight ends coach, TC McCartney, have been released. Josina Anderson with CBS Sports first announced this on X.

Alex Van Pelt has been with the club as quarterbacks coach and coordinator since 2020. He’s been an NFL coach for 19 years.
Stump Mitchell, the former St Louis Cardinal back, was running back coach and run game coordinator since 2019.
TC McCartney, grandson of former University of Colorado coach Bill McCartney, and former LSU QB, was an offensive assistant and tight ends coach for five years.

According to Anderson, the firings happened Tuesday and he told the three he wants to “change course.”
This moves now adds more pressure on the Browns to get past the first round of the playoffs and win the AFC North.
