The NFL free agency signing period is about a month away, and with a lot of money to burn the Browns might be looking at an upgrade in their defensive secondary.
Chad Forbes of NFL Draft Bites on Twitter throws out a prediction that there’s some solid defensive backfield talent to be had on the free agency market, and says to look for the Browns to be spending money in that direction this offseason.
#Browns Focused DBs in Free Agency. Targeting Corners & Safeties. Expect sign one of- Trumaine Johnson, Malcolm Butler, Aaron Colvin, Rashaan Melvin or Kyle Fuller. Tre Boston & Bradley McDougald Safety fits. One of teams interested Jarvis Landry, along w/ Ravens & Jets.

The Browns have $118 million in cap space, far and away the most money to spend in the league this offseason.
