The Browns had been publicized for kneeling in their second preseason game against the New York Giants in Cleveland. The Cleveland Police Union responded by announcing they were not interested in partaking in the opening day ceremonies during the national anthem. The Browns and the Cleveland Police had a meeting on Thursday and talked the situation out, coming to an agreement to display their show of unity before Sunday’s kickoff.
