After a lackluster twelve games with the franchise, Kenny Britt is no longer a Cleveland Brown. The news broke Friday afternoon and is the third big move that the Browns have made over the last 36 hours or so.
Cleveland fired their Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown Thursday morning and reached a deal with John Dorsey to become the team’s new general manager by the night’s end. Britt being released continues a list of moves the Browns have in store in hopes of building a competitive football team.
Sources: The #Browns have informed WR Kenny Britt that he’s being waived. He’ll hit the wire and be a very intriguing pickup

Britt finished his very short tenure with the Browns with 18 catches for 233 receiving yards and two touchdowns in nine games played with Cleveland. Britt missed three games this season due to injury and was believed to be kept on the Injured Reserve list due to his inability to produce when on the field.
The former Los Angeles Rams wideout was signed to a four-year, 32 million dollar deal by Cleveland this past offseason with the idea that he could help fill the void that Terrelle Pryor left when he signed with Washington. Britt has completely underwhelmed and is without a job as a result.
