The Cleveland Browns carousel of wide receivers continues. Just last week, the Browns had picked up Jordan Leslie following the loss of Corey Coleman due to a broken hand. Leslie had performed well and opened a lot of eyes during the preseason, being among one of the final cuts to trim the team down to the final 53-man roster. When they brought him back, it appeared he would be ready for big things in Coleman’s absence.
Well it didn’t take long for Leslie’s potential impact to be nullified. The wideout tore his hamstring in the game against the Bengals this past Sunday and as a result, he was released by the Browns today.
In lieu of the move, the Browns signed wide receiver Bryce Treggs.
The #Browns waived/injured WR Jordan Leslie because of what is believed to be a torn hamstring, source said. They signed WR Bryce Treggs.

Treggs, who stands six feet tall even and weighs 185 pounds, has been on the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad during this season so far. Last year, Treggs appeared in nine games for the Eagles and made three receptions for 80 yards.
We’ll see how the Browns incorporate Treggs into the offense, as they are sorely lacking impact players.
