The Browns have bid farewell to yet another vet today, as the team has released wide out Brian Hartline after being on the roster for just one year.
Hartline caught 46 passes for 523 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games for the team as they went 3-13. After being cut by Miami, Hartline inked a two-year deal worth $6 million.
His $3 million dollar deal was not guaranteed until the first week of the regular season.
The Browns new wide out core is full of young players, including first-round pick Corey Coleman and draft picks Ricardo Louis (fourth round), Jordan Payton (fifth round) and Rashard Higgins (fifth round).
The team also still has Andrew Hawkins and Terrelle Pryor on the roster as well at the WR spot.
