2) Myles Garrett and Company
The preseason provided a sample of how good second-year man Myles Garrett and this Browns defense could be. On Sunday, the Steelers got the first taste of it in the regular season. After falling behind 21-7, Pittsburgh seemed to ease off the gas a bit and Garrett took over. The former No. 1 overall pick forced fumbles on back-to-back drives late in the fourth quarter, one of which resulted in a touchdown to cut the defecit to seven and put the Browns in position to tie things up late. Individually, Garrett finished the day with two sacks and the two forced fumbles. As a whole, the defense forced Pittsburgh into four punts and in the fourth quarter on top of the two fumble recoveries and had six total turnovers for the day. Tragically, the offense only turned one of the takeaways into points.
