After a week where the Browns were forced to place most of their wide out core on the COVID-19 list, Tuesday the team put two more players on the list.
The team announced that TE Harrison Bryant and S Andrew Sendejo have been placed on the list, meaning the club currently has eight players on the COVID/reserve list.
There has been no word if the two players tested positive or are on the list for being in close contact with a player or someone who did test positive.
Since they went on the list today, the two can come off the list in time for Sunday’s huge AFC North game at First Energy Stadium against the AFC North Champion Steelers, who come to town with a mark of 12-3.
Right now on the COVID-19 list include wide outs Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge.
Linebackers B.J. Goodson and Jacob Phillips also are on the list, Goodson was reportedly the player who most of the other players were in close contact with when everything broke on Saturday.
Those that test positive for the COVID-19 test have to be on the reserve list for 10 days, those that come in “close contact” have to stay on the list for five days.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski was asked Monday when Browns players who were placed on the list can return to the team.
“I think Thursday is the day, provided they all continue to test negative,” Stefanski said.
