The world’s worst kept secret is out, the Browns will be going back to Robert Griffin III to be the teams’ starter this Sunday when the team takes on the Bengals at First Energy Stadium.
Griffin has only seen action in one game this season, the season opener against the Eagles, and then wound up on injured reserve with a a shoulder injury.
During his absence, the team has used a number of others at quarterback, including Josh McCown and Cody Kessler, who will be backups for Griffin on Sunday. Kevin Hogan, Charlie Whitehurst and even Terrelle Pryor have also appeared under center this season.
In the season opener against the Eagles, RG III was 12-of-26 for 190 yards.
