The Browns have signed TE Connor Hamlett to their practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team released WR Mitch Mathews from the practice squad.
Hamlett is 6-7, 259-pounds and is officially in his first NFL season out of Oregon State. He appeared in three games this year and recorded one catch for a 17-yard touchdown. He spent the first four weeks of the season on the Browns’ practice squad. Hamlett attended Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Wash.
