BEREA – The Cleveland Browns add yet another coach to the new regime with the hiring of offense line coach, Bob Wylie.
Browns Head Coach, Hue Jackson and Wiley have a history having worked together when Jackson was the Head Coach of the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 season.
Wylie has been an offensive line coach for 35 years working with several different teams. To his credit, the year that he worked with Jackson, the offense of line went from 29th to 4th in sacks allowed.
Most recently Wylie has been with the Canadian football league’s, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and to add to his accolades Wylie is a regular guest on Sirius XM’s NFL radio where you can hear him break down offensive line play.

The 65-year-old Wylie replaces Hal Hunter, who was fired last week as part of the latest coaching purge.
The hiring of Wiley could reshape the Cleveland Browns offensive line staff and their ability to work together to protect their quarterbacks better than they have in the past.
We look forward to seeing Wylie’s trademark bushy mustache on the sidelines and seeing how this move shapes the new draft picks and coaching staff for the 2017 season.
