The Cleveland Browns have done a lot of cleaning shop and swapping jobs this offseason. Today, another job was filled by a new name.
That name would be Amos Jones, who is now the new special teams coordinator for Cleveland after filling the role that was left vacant by former special teams coordinator Chris Tabor. Tabor departed for the Chicago Bears recently after spending seven seasons with Cleveland, outlasting numerous head coaches and other coordinators. Now, Jones is the guy.

Jones spent five seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, learning a great deal while underneath head coach Bruce Arians. Jones had previously been with the Pittsburgh Steelers starting in 2012 for six campaigns as an assistant special teams coach and then the special teams coordinator. The former Cardinals coordinator even spent time playing for collegiate coaching great Paul “Bear” Bryant while a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide before spending two seasons as a graduate assistant at Alabama.
