The 2018 NFL Draft is Thursday and the Cleveland Browns have a number of decisions to make involving their first-round selections. But whatever they decide to do, the players chosen will have an eventful first weekend in Northeast Ohio.
According to The Athletic’s Zack Meisel, the two players drafted in the first round will be throwing out first pitches Friday at Progressive Field before the Indians clash with the Seattle Mariners.
Jim Tressel is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at tonight’s Indians-Cubs game at Progressive Field. The Browns’ first-round picks are scheduled to do the same on Friday night.

This has become a tradition of sorts to familiarize the players with the fan base and vice versa. The record for first pitches thrown out is currently set at three, a total met in last year’s draft. Myles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, and David Njoku were all seen donning the Tribe’s white uniforms last season.
Check out the festivities from the 2017 rendition:
Will the Browns put three more first-rounders on the mound or will they remain with their current two positions? One thing’s for certain, it’s sure to be a fun time once again at Progressive Field.
