1.Hue Plays Switcharoo Again- Hue Jackson was praised as a quarterback guru when he first took the head coaching job in Cleveland. And why shouldn’t he be, this is the same guy that took Andy Dalton and made him into a very solid NFL quarterback. Heck, Hue almost won a playoff game with A.J. McCarron at the helm.Long story short, the guru has been outsmarted now numerous different times this year. He has swapped out Brock Osweiler for DeShone Kizer before the year started, brought in Hogan for a brief moment before giving Kizer the starting gig again, and has now brought Cody Kessler into the situation at hand. What is it about Kizer that Hue doesn’t get? He’s a rookie that had come out of college a year early. He needs time. Surely two interceptions on the day isn’t ideal, but what else would you like the rookie to do? He is being thrown into the fire with no fire hose. It’s unfair for Hue to keep pulling Kizer out of the game when he struggles and it is even more wrong when the only excuse is that he wants to win. Everyone wants to win. Unfortunately for Hue, he should’ve worried about that before dropping to 1-22 in his head coaching career with the Browns.
