Browns Draft Memphis Linebacker Genard Avery With 150th Pick In 2018 NFL Draft

The Cleveland Browns continued to add to their linebacking core with the 150th Pick in the draft, selecting Genard Avery out of Memphis.

Avery had 230 tackles for the Tigers and 44.5 of those were for a loss on the play. The senior also finished his collegiate career with 21.5 sacks.

Avery will probably become a rotational linebacker for Cleveland, who already featured a core of Christian Kirksey, Jamie Collins, and Joe Schobert.
