The Cleveland Browns are expected to part ways with safety Calvin Pryor after Pryor was involved in a fight with a teammate before Thursday’a practice, according to reports. Wide receiver Ricardo Louis was the teammate rumored to be involved in the fight with Pryor.
Pryor was acquired by the Browns this off-season in exchange for linebacker Demario Davis. Pryor had fallen out of favor with the Jets when they selected two safeties (Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye) in the 2017 NFL Draft. Pryor had underachieved as a first-round selection of the Jets, only having two interceptions and 130 tackles in three seasons with New York.
Pryor was looking to be the backup to Derrick Kindred after the way training camp played out. Now after a careless decision by Pryor, he is now teamless and looking for a job in the NFL.
