The Browns on Monday activated wide out Josh Gordon, and there’s already hope that he’ll be able to get on the field and play Thursday when the Browns host the Falcons at First Energy Stadium.
Gordon has been out due to a quad injury since returning to the Browns in late-July. He has yet to practice fully with the team, though he is scheduled to be on the field for practice today.
He will have to miss the first four games of the regular season, but can play in the preseason, so expect new coach Hue Jackson to give Gordon plenty of chances to play to get in game shape for when he can come back in week five at home against the Patriots.
Here’s some video of Gordon speaking to the media today at Browns camp in Berea.
