The Browns visit the San Diego Chargers on Sunday in what will be the 24th meeting in the teams’ all-time series.
Cleveland has an 8-14-1 record against the Chargers, including 2-5 since the Browns’ return to the NFL as a franchise in 1999. The series began in 1970, when the merger between the old National Football League and the American Football League was completed. San Diego won at Cleveland, 27-10, that Nov. 1.
