4. Browns 27, Ravens 17, Nov. 18, 2001 at Baltimore
The Browns intercepted four passes, one of them returned 43 yards by Devin Bush for a touchdown and a 17-0 second-quarter lead.
Rookie defensive back Anthony Henry came up with the three other picks. It was Henry’s second three-interception game of the season. He finished the campaign with 10, leading the NFL and tying the Browns’ single-season record (which still stands) set by safety Thom Darden in 1978. Henry and seven other players own the team record with three interceptions in a game, though Henry is the lone Brown to do it twice.
Browns quarterback Tim Couch threw three interceptions himself. He completed 19 of 30 passes for 144 yards, including five to Dennis Northcutt for 45 yards and three to Kevin Johnson for 54 yards. Ben Gay ran for 56 yards and a 7-yard Browns touchdown in 18 carries.
The victory made the Browns 5-4 and gave them a season sweep of the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens. Baltimore became 6-4.
