6.) Cornerback
Among the CBs, the Browns only have three on the roster that started the season with them. Joe Haden has dealt with nagging injuries the last few years and has not reached his former Pro Bowl status as a number one corner. Jamar Taylor played well this year and the team gave him a three year 15 million dollar extension and Briean Boddy-Calhoun showed promise as a nickel corner. The problem is there is no depth outside this group. The front office needs to grab another couple of CBs that can come in and add depth as well as someone that can start if Haden misses more time.
7.) Right Tackle
The left side of the line is set with Joe Thomas and Joel Bitonio if he can stay on the field, but the right side needs help. There is no true starter at RT. Austin Pasztor held the spot down for most of the year but he would be better suited at guard. There is talk of maybe trying Cam Erving out there again and the Browns drafted Shon Coleman to be their future RT in the third round, but he barely saw the field. Until they figure out if one of the young guys will step up, they may need to go out and add somebody to handle the edge rushers and protect the QB.
