The WWE today announced that former Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has been suspended 30 days due to violating the companies wellness policy.
Reigns lost the title to Seth Rollins in Sunday’s ‘Money in the Bank’ PPV in Las Vegas, but then Rollins lost it to Dean Ambrose. The three were set to square off in the main event of ‘Battleground’ on PPV in a few weeks, but that plan will have to be shifted with the suspension.

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
Reigns tweeted after it was announced about the suspension.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.
