The Browns hiring of Freddie Kitchens has the fan base excited today, but there’s one radio/TV host who says the Browns are setting themselves up for failure.
That host is Colin Cowherd, who has been critical of the Browns a lot this season, and says that the Browns should have not hired from within, and that a lot of time it’s a losing situation waiting to happen.
Here’s the video to chew on from today’s show on the move:
"Cleveland has low self-esteem so they had a little success and they're attributing their success to Freddie Kitchens… The last 10 teams who have promoted from within to their head coach, none have been re-signed." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/GV0PqYhv5i

Thanks Colin,
Hope you are as accurate about this as you were about Baker. History of past hires mean nothing as to this one. I keep hearing this about the length of tenure for coaches hired from within. What is the comparison to those hired from outside an organization. Hugh Jackson was a highly praised hire by all the experts. That worked out perfectly. However it was a perfect 0-16. Keep criticizing the moves Dorsey makes. So far it’s worked out great when you do.
