The score was 42-41 Eagles after Barron’s score. Berea-Midpark was unable to hit any of their shots from that point on, and Notre Dame Academy put the game away with six clutch free throws, all in a 1-and-1 situation, by 5’8″ senior Mariah Copeland.
NDA closed out the game on a 12-0 run.
The Titans’ impressive season ends with 24 wins, three losses, a Southwestern Conference Title and a district title.
Berea-Midpark will lose senior post Miranda Otero along with two reserve players to graduation, but the vast majority of the lineup returns for 2018 and the Titans will be back with a vengeance led by their backcourt duo of Jada Marone (20 points) and Lexie Scarton (14 points).
