Berea-Midpark came back from a 6-point fourth-quarter deficit to nip Benedictine 64–63 in overtime on Tuesday evening. Titans junior forward Owen Trzebuckowski swished the game-tying 3-pointer with 0:38 to play in regulation, and the teams went to overtime knotted at 59 all.
Kareem Jennings and Joe Watts each scored a basket for the Bengals in O/T, but a Devyn Zahursky free throw and two clutch baskets by sophomore guard Austin Clay nailed down the victory for Berea-Midpark.
The Titans’ Jayson Levis topped all scorers with 23 points.
