The Rockets soared all over the Avon Lake Shoremen tonight in a blowout. The Rockets secured the impressive road victory with a huge second half.
Up 27 – 22 at the break, it was still a tight lead for the Rockets, but quick passing, solid defense and a red hot shooting spree broke the game wide open. They outscored Avon Lake 40-18 in the second half and it was never close.
Rj Sunahara led the Rockets with a career high 35 points and 16 rebounds to go along with 5 blocks. Erik Painter scored 16, Jack Maxwell 8, Dan Brajdic 4, Francis Sherman 2, Sean Heideloff 2.
The Rockets are 1-1 and open conference play on Friday at Holy Name.
