The Lady Rockets traveled to Northwestern High school for the Husky Tournament . The first match of the day was against St Thomas Aquinas where they lost in a hard fought match pushing it to 3 games. Leading the scoring was Julia Kuh, Halle Dieterich and Helen Rice each with 6 followed Lauren McClure with 4, Leila Psota with 3 and Maggie McAndrews with 2.
The Lady Rockets second match at the HuskyTtournament was against Orrville. The rockets fought hard but fell short and lost in 2 games. Julia Kuh led the scoring with 6 points followed by Helen Rice with 5, Lauren McClure with 4 and Maggie McAndrews with 1.
The Lady Rockets finished the day against Cloverleaf and in a exciting hard fought match came away with the victory in 3 games. Maggie McAndrews was the leading scorer with 12 points followed by Julia Kuh with 9, Halle Dieterich with 6, Leila Psota with 4, Lauren McClure with 3 and Helen Rice with 2. Good job today ladies. The lady rockets are back in conference action on Tuesday when they travel to Elyria Catholic to start the second round of conference play.
