The North Ridgeville Rangers got off to a fast start Friday night and never looked back, cruising past the Brookside Cardinals 83-36 in boys high school basketball.
Four Rangers players were in double digits in the win, led by 14 each for Jeremy Sanchez and Cole Payne.
Tyler Cadle and Zach Perkins each popped in 10 for North Ridgeville, who improve their mark to 3-4 on the season.
The Cardinals, who drop to 1-6 on the year with the setback, got 14 points from Tyler Horvath.
The Rangers jumped out to a 17-9 lead after one, and their defense did the rest, as in the second period they outscored the Cardinals 19-6 to take a commanding 36-15 lead at the half.
The second half was much of the same, as the Rangers pushed the lead out to 62-25 after three quarters, allowing many of the reserves to see playing time.
Overall, 13 Rangers players got into the scorers book in the victory, nine players scoring four or more points in the win.
